Tashi Mountain Pagoda located at the Southwest of Nanhe District can be found on the Guangyuan city touristic map and will therefore lure people into visiting it.
Even if the pagoda is said to have significant historical importance (it was first built in the 19th Century), there isn’t much to see despite the relatively difficult access.
From Nanhuan street (南环路), one has two find the stairs to a yellow temple between the furious honking of trucks, and then start going up. The temple itself isn’t of great interest itself if you aren’t able to read Buddhist history in Chinese. It does however enable you to spot the pagoda, that you will reach less than 20 minutes later..

The original monument has been largely rebuilt due to a striking attack and a partial collapse during the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. It is therefore difficult to imagine the historical importance it might have had, especially since only mines can be found in its direct surroundings. The only mountain path also clearly shows that rather few visitors do the effort to climb the small hill.
Tashi’s Mountain Pagoda can therefore offer a distracting break during a longer trip, but not much more.
